Taylor and Dan Mann developed the TJP with slightly more aggressive bottom contours and a touch more kick in the tail than the stock 900R. The TJP will go vertical while still maximizing the fun of cruising on a longer board.
This is Taylor Jensen’s go-to board for competition, and has taken him to 3x WSL World Longboard Championships.
This shape is meant for performance in good waves, from beach breaks to pointbreaks, it can do it all. This shape is about speed, power, flow, driving turns on rail, and going fast down the line during noserides.
This all-performance rounded pintail longboard shape designed by Dan Mann features a light single concave in the nose for nose riding, into a double concave through the tail with a slight vee out the end to loosen things up. It’s got very performance rails – think a shortboard hidden in a longboard’s body. Stand on the tail to do turns, and walk up to the nose for trim and nose riding. People who aren’t longboarders pick this shape up and love it.
